Very small bloody show 39+6

I had a bit of blood tinged mucus earlier today when I wiped. Does it count as a show if there’s not a lot there? Hopefully labour won’t be far enough, anyone share their experience?

This happened to me with some contractions on the saturday night, went to the hospital and they kept me overnight and said it was very slow labour, I went home then and had contractions the whole way to Tuesday night and went to the hospital when they were 1 minute apart (everyone is different and my waters hadn't broke so I stayed put as long as I could) Wednesday morning he was born so I'd stay put for another little while unless waters brake or contractions get closer and more intense. My show went on for about 2 days so just keep an eye on it. Best of luck x

Sounds like your mucus plug so very good sign labour will start soon x

I had this at about 7am on the Tuesday. Contractions started at 9am. Ds arrived at 3:50pm.

I had this on the Friday morning (due date the following Monday), then nothing until the Tuesday morning when I more obviously lost some of the plug. Saw the midwife that day who said nothing was imminent/head was 0/5 engaged and booked me in for the following week. Labour started quietly and progressed through Wednesday and baby arrived Thursday lunchtime, 6 days after the initial mucus and at 40+3.

Does it count as a show if it was just a bit of mucus with a tinge of fresh blood, a bit like if you blew your nose and had a tiny nose bleed? Sorry for description just have no idea 🙈

I don't see why not! Anything mucus/blood is bound to be part of the plug, it might just be coming away slowly. I can't remember specifically what the first lot looked like for me, the second was a lot more substantial/obvious although still wouldn't have e.g. soaked through a sanitary towel.
