I personally had a very good experience with the Mary rose maternity unit (B5) at QA. I would have been closer to Blake ward but I wanted to be on a midwife let unit attached to the hospital in case of complications. I plan on going back there for this birth

I'm Portsmouth. I've not given birth yet but the care and treatment I have received from QA has been excellent. I will give birth there on the labour ward instead of the midwife run unit there. My friend really rates St Richard's in Chichester and another St Mary's Portsmouth. I believe you can request where right up until you give birth.
