Faint line on pregnancy test or evaporation

Hi All,

I’m new here but I would be greatful for anyone’s advice/experience!

Me and my partner have trying to conceive for the last 8 months -I’ve never had any lines on the pregnancy test but on monday I got a faint line on my pregnancy test but it was an hour after testing. I did another test the next morning and it was negative

AF isn’t due for 2 more days , just wondering if anyone has had any similar situations with false positives?

If it was outside the guided time then I would say it's a negative this time but could just be too soon to tell xx

Thank you for your reply, yeah I think I’ll just wait to see now if AF turns up and if not do another one! Feels like forever that I’ve been trying

What kind of test was it?

It was just a cheap one from the supermarket, a blue dye one ..the line was quite thick so I was hopeful

Ah right ok well I had a false positive on a cheap amazon test but I’m not sure about those type. Try again tomorrow? Good luck
