No sign of baby yet, no twinges or anything. My due date was today. DS was 8 days overdue but I was in labour for 4 days of that. Anyone care to speculate when this one might come along? I feel like I've been pregnant forever...

No advice but just want to say good luck for when the time comes. I went 2 weeks over with my first and it was awful as was in August and so hot! Second was planned section 39 weeks and so will this baby be! Xx

@katmarie I'm with you as it's my due date today! Have had a really good pregnancy but apart from some very mild cramps no sign of my baby wanting to come out anytime soon. I'm hoping he/she makes an appearance in the next few days!!

Boymummy3 · 17/10/2019 09:47

Ahh good luck and hope baby comes soon nothing worse than hitting due date and nothing happening. With my 2nd I had pains and all sorted up until day I was due and nothing happened. Day after I was absolutely fine and bang on half 5 in the evening my labour started full blown out of the blue. Fingers crossed you ain't waiting too long now xx

Thanks everyone! Still no signs today, I've been out for a bit of a walk, and now taking it easy. Keep trying to tell myself it could be another week or more yet, which seems like forever!

What I did when overdue was create a reward list for each day. For example 1 day over dominos. 2 days over game night with hubby. Etc etc. It gave me something to look forward to each day and not just focus on if baby will come! Hopefully they make their appearance soon!

Fingers crossed for tomorrow - that's my b'day!

katmarie · 17/10/2019 18:53

I was hoping for today since it's my birthday! But no movement yet, not even a twinge or a cramp. I like the idea of something to look forward to every day. So far I have pizza tonight, my family coming up to visit tomorrow evening, and a birthday lunch on Saturday. Hoping that baby will massively disrupt all of that but we will see!

Still pregnant... had an exciting moment last night when I had a good strong cramp. but after that, nothing. Midwife started talking about sweeps and inductions today, if nothing happens in the next couple of days. How are you doing @secretlyhermione ?

@katmarie still pregnant as well! Had a visit yesterday and the midwives were saying my cervix has softened and dropped and is favourable and I'm 1cm dilated but other than a few mild cramps still nothing! I'm hoping he/she arrives this weekend, if not I have another visit booked on Tuesday. So hard to keep busy at this stage when all you want to do is meet the little one!! How are you hanging in? I'm also fielding lots of messages everyday about people curious if the baby is here yet... Doesn't make it easier! Also think this baby could take another week to come...

katmarie · 20/10/2019 07:56

Still pregnant, no sign of anything happening! Now four days overdue. I'm getting all the messages and calls too, as if I'm going to sneak off to the hospital without telling anyone! My mum is the worst, shes lined up to have ds when the baby comes so she knows I'm going to call the second something happens, but shes still checking in. It's nice to know they all care though.

@katmarie I've been losing my mucus plug since yesterday and my lower back really aches (my back hasn't hurt at all this pregnancy) so I'm hoping that means something will happen soon! Going to do some exercise this afternoon and just been on a walk so trying it all! Also bought a pineapple haha

katmarie · 20/10/2019 11:24

Oh @secretlyhermione that sounds promising! I've had a bit of nausea but nothing else. Going to be a while yet for me I think.
