Combined Screening Test - are my results okay?

I got my results back for the CST today and they were low risk which is good, but I'm just wondering whether my results are okay? As I know a lot of mums who got higher numbers who have commented to say mine are just average and they got better ones.

Just making me feel a bit nervous.

Risk of Down's - 1 in 9,500 (at term)
Risk of trisomy 18 - Less than 1 in 50,000
Risk of trisomy 13 - Less than 1 in 50,000

I'm 24 too so surely my results should be a bit better than that?

The nuchal measurement was also normal at 1.60 mm

Thanks! x

Mine was overall 1 in 156 and still low risk so I think yours sound great.

These are very good results - mine was something like 1 in 370 and still low risk. Your results show you have a 0.01% risk of a baby with Downs and 0.002% risk of trisomies 18 and 13. I don’t know how you could want better odds than that!

You results are totally fine. Very low risk. But if you’ll keep worrying, maybe pay for further tests? .. all anyone can tell you on here is that they are low risk and pretty good!

Your risks are very low. It will depend on your hormone levels too, so this may have altered the odds compared to age-related risk alone, but really these results are pretty reassuring

I think less than one in 50,000 is a tiny tiny risk. That's less than 0.000002%

It sounds like you think you have failed in some way and should have done "better". The results are very very low risk. They have taken your age and nuchal fold measure into account, as well as DNA testing from the blood test.
