Awful trapped wind and cramps

Right someone knock some sense into me. I had an EMC a couple of weeks ago but promptly ovulated early on day 11 of this cycle (as opposed to day 17 which is my normal).

Yesterday at 3dpo and today I have had the most horrific trapped wind and cramps; it kept me up all night and has had me doubled over.

Has anyone experienced this as a very early pregnancy symptom or have I returned to my normal ttc crazy symptom spotting self?

3dpo is too early for pregnancy symptoms.

Where abouts did you feel the trapped wind? Was it reasonably high up - i.e. around your bra strap? I just ask because I had awful "trapped wind" at night time in that region and it turned out to actually be gallstones (but it was weeks of agony before I knew that!)

Hey @PowerslidePanda cheers for the reply. I actually had a very similar episode last cycle when I was pregnant (EMC). It's all over my tummy right from under my rib cage all the way to my belly button but not one sided.

Can't comment on whether it's too early to have symptoms. But my "morning sickness" was awful trapped wind, indigestion, constantly feeling like I'd eaten a massive rich meal and constipation (tmi maybe). Never threw up. Felt awful. They say hormones affect your digestive system. Hope it's a good sign for you!

Thanks @Keha it's ongoing so I'm going to get it checked with the gp just in case it is something else like @PowerslidePanda suggested and if not it's 8 days till test time.

The day before my miss period and then for about a week after my period, I had the worst trapped wind and pain. I couldn't move I was in so much pain. I'm now 30 weeks so it could be!

Chefwifelife · 17/10/2019 12:53

Oh @Sparkle2019 it's horrific isn't it! I'm crossing everything that it's a good sign.

Good luck - hope it does turn out to be good news!

I found out I was pregnant today, I have been farting a lot this week (especially in the morning...really loud ones) sorry this is TMI. I don’t even know if this was a symptoms. Maybe it was something I ate. Good luck though because it might be x

Absa · 18/10/2019 20:18

@Catlover10 me too!! From 4 days PO I have been ridiculously gassy and bloated - now 6 days into the "gas" and got BFP this morning. So either a lot of coincidence with us all randomly being gassy or it is a symptom of early pregnancy?!

Chefwifelife · 19/10/2019 06:37

@Catlover10 and @Absa congratulations! Tummy still not quite right. I'm 7dpo and my chart is looking optimistic but trying not to get my hopes up after EMC last month.
