Is it safe to travel to Mexico or still much of zika risk?
I’ve read conflicting things online. Apparently no zika reports in 2019

Visited in middle of an ivf cycle. The clinic did mention zika generally but that Mexico not a risky country. Assuming you’re going to somewhere fairly well-trodden and not trekking through the jungles I wouldn’t worry - just take care to cover up and use repellent when the nurses are out!

BTW I went in January and there hadn’t been any reports the previous year either.

We've just come back and my GP said not to get pregnant for 6 months and told my 21 year old son not to get anyone pregnant for 6 months.

I would go elsewhere just to be safe unless there's an urgent reason to go.
