Has anyone else had or is having problems with cramps in legs during the night?
This is my second pregnancy didn't have it first time round.
I'm 28 weeks and really struggling to sleep , turning over is really painful I have a pressure feeling /pain down below all the time now and when I lift my legs it really hurts but also now everytime I stretch or move my calves cramp up leaving my legs very sore :( and my 3yo has be up crack of dawn. Anyone got any suggestions to help? :)

The obvious cause is dehydration, make sure you are drinking plenty of water. I used to get this quite often, it's awful

I second dehydration being a likely cause. I always find I get this on nights where I haven't drank enough fluids through the day and sometimes even wake up for a drink through the night. Maybe less time now to think about drinks for yourself when running around after a toddler compared to the first time. Hope they feel better for you op.

I got this too. It's dehydration. Make sure your drink plenty in the day.

I think magnesium is meant to help. You can buy a supplement. I also tried to do stretches before bed. Do you sleep with a pillow between your legs?

I don't sleep with a pillow in between my legs but I am definitely going to do this thank you

Make sure you're hydrated, pillow between knees and ankles (I bought a cheap long one and love it) and as someone else suggested lack of magnesium or potassium can contribute to cramps - try an afternoon banana or avocado for a boost.
