Anyone had ICP? Itching

Has anyone had cholestasis during pregnancy? I'm having weekly blood tests to rule it out, after constant mild itching, which has been really bad since last night.

My next blood test is on Thursday, should I get checked before as itching is getting worse? Last bile acids were 6, up from 4 in the first test, so below 10, but I read they can increase fast. Could this be the case?

I have this!
My ALT levels have gone 61 to 101 to 103 to 140 in two weeks and my acid levels are 20. I'm seeing a consultant Friday and they said it's highly likely I'll be induced as I'm 37 weeks

@hlo91 did it take long to get diagnosed since the itching started? Mine started nearly 2 weeks ago but results still normal. I'm 35+4 today.

I itched about a month before diagnosis, but the fact the itching was worst at night and in my palms and soles meant I already knew myself I had it. I don't think they'd induce you yet (they wait until 37 weeks), so probably not worth getting tested earlier. Sorry about the itch though, it is unbearable!

@Imicola I tried finding an alternative explanation to justify the itching, but it's driving me demented (using a sponge scourer today) and it's worse on hands, feet and lower legs.

Hospital seems quite good, testing every week (they mentioned a liver scan), just wondering if it should be twice a week?

I have had a liver scan too, came up fine.

I was told 2 weeks ago they suspected it and I have my consultant meeting Friday for the plan of what to do next regarding inducing.

You wouldn't be induced until after 37 weeks. :)

I have had bloods every 3-5 days

@hlo91 thank you :) It's so stressful as it hasn't come up yet, and they say it could take a while. I'm booked to deliver at 39 weeks anyway so not a huge amount of time left.

Did your blood result show abnormal values immediately?

My alt results were instant
My bile ones... the only run every Monday

Super stressful!!! X
