Right shoulder pain 20 weeks pregnant

I’m currently 20 weeks pregnant and over the last three days I’ve had severe pain in my shoulder. It lasts all day and I’m struggling to move it, raising my arm over my head for example is becoming a real issue. I’ve been getting severe lower back pain too but this is not unusual for me so I’m not sure it’s related.

Has anyone experienced this?

Just reading your thread has reminded me that I had a sore shoulder whilst pregnant too. I had completely forgotten as it went away by itself. I didn’t treat it at all so no advice there unfortunately but it just be a thing!

Also have/had extreme shoulder pain.. mine is just from sleeping on my sides! Get a pregnancy pillow if you haven't already got one, it minimises the pain
