Waters breaking?

Probably TMI for a Sunday morning but I’m a bit confused about what I’ve woken up to.

37 weeks tomorrow with first baby. Woke up after sleeping relatively well (for once!) to find a little 3cm long damp patch at the very side of my bed. I wasn’t damp down below nor was my nightie or pregnancy pillow. Had a few little cramps but nothing major.
Was confused as I wasn’t sure if my bottom half was even that far over to that side. Smelt it, didn’t seem to smell weird. It’s dried but has left a whitish stain.
I’ve had a lot of discharge this whole pregnancy and generally am quite damp down below. To me it looks more like discharge.
I’m just not sure what to do now.

I would call the midwife, can you take the sheet with you to show them?

Call the labour ward for advise if your midwife not available X

It's hard to know, with both my previous pregnancies when my waters broke it was unmistakable from both the sensation and the quantity of fluid, but I expect this varies from person to person. I'd give them a call for advice.

Thanks all. Called the out of hours and spoke to the on call midwife, who just happened to be my usual community midwife! She said it didn’t sound like my waters breaking as I haven’t been trickling since and as it’s dried white she thought it was probably discharge. Just got to keep an eye on it and call back if anything changes. Phew!
