What had you bought for your baby at this gestation?

Hey OP I'm 24 weeks and we've got most of the big items, nursery furniture, next2me crib & Moses basket (bedding for both), pram with car seat, nursing chair, pregnancy ball (mostly for me!).

We've started a small collection of nappies as friends of ours have babies which are a few months old so they've given us all the newborn ones they didn't use. We've got a few outfits but still need lots of sleeping bags, sleep suits, swaddle blankets etc, still plenty of time to get that!

Some people have said I've done it all too early but I have diabetes and I'll be heavily pregnant come Dec so don't really want to leave anything to chance! At this rate I'll have my hospital bag packed by next month even though I'm not due until Jan which I don't see a problem with. Just means I can spend December relaxing and preparing for little ones arrival!

What have you got so far? Don't hold back just because other people say you should wait, do what feels right for you Smile

I'm 21 weeks and have got moses basket and stand, picked up a bundle of baby clothes from newborn - 6-9 months, a snow suit, muslins, and when I was in asda with my hubby the other day they had a baby Walker reduced to £11.50! So got that and put it in the loft for when shes 6 months. The stuff I have brought I've got for a really good price that's why ive brought them I still have plenty we need to buy and as long as I have everything we need by 34 weeks I think I'll be happy.

I am a very organised person in life and stress about things not being in place!

I'm 22 weeks.
People keep talking to me about buying things Dec/Jan. Like, when I am broke from Christmas? And what if I am early? Not sure why they think I'd wait until the last minute; don't want a disorganised rush. I'm finding it easier to contemplate what I need/want, buy a few bits, wait, rethink the space, and so on. Only large item bought is buggy atm, otherwise mostly practical things like wipes and nappy liners that could be easily forgotten!
@Lou2120 I like your "34 weeks" plan. It sounds organised but sensible. :)
