So I had my 20 week anomaly scan.
And I got to see pics of my baby .
Baby seems to look differently in two pics. In the 'pinkish' pic , baby seem to have thinner lips and normally appearing nose,
in the other one, baby seems to have way thicker lips and a kind of twisted nose.

what do you think ?

It’s not an exact science, if the baby is moving the picture will look a bit different.

Agree with pp. But your baby is beautiful!!

sarahhoping · 12/10/2019 13:38

@RainbowCrashes, you mean to say 'pinkish pic' by pp, right ?
thanks for the compliment :)

1 image is in 3D and 1 imagine is in HD, baby will be moving hence the nose looking twisted!

Do you think they’ve swapped your baby for a different one?

sarahhoping · 12/10/2019 13:52

@QueenofPain would they by accident swap up images of two different babies ?
I know , I saw it for sure on screens during sonography .
I would trust the pink pic more as its HD :)

@sarahhoping I think @QueenofPain is being sarcastic !

If you look at this pic you would think I'm growing an avatar 😂 its just if they take the pic when baby moves.

No one has swapped babies or pictures Confused. It is the same baby, just different angles and with movement. Why does it matter?

sarahhoping · 12/10/2019 14:26

The sonographer doctor did say the baby was moving a lot but she also chuckled that the baby is very cooperative and quickly allowed all the vital scans haha Grin

Perhaps there are two babies Grin

My 4D scan pictures look like a completely different baby in each one. The sonographer doing ours said its something to do with the fluid in front of where they’re capturing. Looking at my scan pictures I’m no more clued up on what the baby looks like at all!
