Bump hurting at 33 weeks

Just as the title says really

I feel a lot of pressure that can only be relieved if I bob down and start bobbing up and down (probably time for a exercise ball)

Worried it may mean I’m going into labour early unless it’s just his weight on my pelvis

Any suggestions on what I can/should do

Just had a bath which did relieve for the duration

Where is the pressure? I had a lot of pain around that time, turned out baby decided to spend a couple of days lying transverse, but settled in the end. If you're at all worried, you can ring the midwife, they will check you over.

Sounds like Braxton Hicks, is your bump going tight when this happens?

Heartburn888 · 12/10/2019 13:27

Yeah it is rock hard, well was - it’s settled down now.

Tried to ring the maternity assessment centre but couldn’t get through.

@Heartburn888 i've been having similar (also 33 weeks). I've been on the Spinning Babies website and following some of their exercises which has been helping (inversions in particular).

Heartburn888 · 12/10/2019 15:24

Thank you I’ll give it a go

I have this a lot, I thought perhaps he was engaged because it practically felt like he was about to fall out! I've been checked twice and he's not though (I'm also 33 weeks). Always worth calling and checking about anything you are worried about but this sounds fairly normal.

Heartburn888 · 12/10/2019 19:33

Yeah I was thinking he was engaged but it feels like he’s turned around now so not so much pressure.
