Am I worrying unnecessarily? I'm 6 weeks pregnant (tomorrow) although I'm worried I've got my weeks wrong & I might be a week further along than I thought.
I have my booking app booked for 2 weeks time.
I haven't really had any symptoms, not felt nauseas at all, just tired & hot flushes here & there, generally I feel okay but not 100% myself if you get what I mean.
I'm very nervous that I should be feeling "more pregnant" than I am, or should I stop over thinking & enjoy this non sickness stage?!
I did have a cry last night just because I'm feeling so nervous, don't want to do anything wrong/want to make sure everything is okay, the time feels like it's going so slow!

Thanks in advance for your advice!

Ah no lots of ladies don’t have many symptoms, I know you are worried about it, but this may also be a blessing for you, you could be one of the lucky ones that will get to cruise through the early weeks! I have a friend who had no idea she was pregnant for three months, and only found out by chance at the gps I think she thought she had a uti from what I remember but the gp did a test and low and behold she was pregnant the whole time. So please try not to worry, chances are all is well but do book in with your gp for a bit of reassurance if you feel that might help, but one hundred per cent some people have hardly any symptoms if any at all, I know it’s probably scripted to the hilt but there is that programme about the girls that had no idea and go to the bathroom and out pops a baby😂😂😂 so you are not the only one apparently😂😂😂😂 I hope you have a lovely pregnancy and get away without any morning sickness or unpleasantness at all!!!❤️

Apart from sore nipples I didn't have any other pregnancy symptoms until the second trimester. Then the dreaded SPD hit me. I have 2 DC and it was the same both times

Up until about 8 weeks I felt pretty ok, didnt feel myself as you say then all of a sudden nausea and everything started so try not to worry.

Nothing wrong with having a cry about it, pregnancy has made me anxious about what's happening as you have no way of knowing but being positive will make the time go quicker!

I'm 10+1 weeks and I've not had many symptoms other than mild cramping and feeling very tired. Occasionally get severe hunger pangs. I had a MMC so was feeling extra nervous this time but a private scan at 7 weeks and 10 weeks has shown little bean at the right size with a heartbeat.

People say "lucky you" if you don't have morning sickness but they don't realise that it can be a source of huge anxiety when we don't have any. Apparently, I've read it's 50/50 among pregnant women and tends to be hereditary. Did your mum get sick?

Thank you ladies for the reassurance!! @Yummymummy2020 I'm sure I've watched segments on this morning where women haven't known they're pregnant until the baby is on the way! Thank you for the lovely message. I'm sure if it stays like this & I tell people eventually, I'm sure I'll get some "lucky you" comments as you say @ElBBN but it affects everyone differently. A little side note, is I'm actually quite phobic of sick/being sick so let's hope this is my body's way of helping me out a little bit, if the sickness comes, I better start my breathing exercises to get me through. ❤️
