Are these good lines?!

I have posted a couple of times over the last couple of days since getting my first BFP on Wednesday at 10dpo. I am now 13dpo (I could be a day behind or a day in front) and I have taken a few (8) pregnancy tests, they seem to be getting slightly darker each day but not much!

The top ones of each beans are starting at 10dpo, do they look like good lines? I'm due on my period in the next day or 2.

I know I sound crazy but we have been trying for a year and this is all I've ever wanted, plus I do struggle with anxiety so I'm trying to keep my mind calm.

Thank you Smile

I also have moderate lower back ache, is this normal? Similar to what I get when I'm on my period.

It's definitely progressing ! Apparently you see the biggest change in darkness if you test every couple of days. The difference from day to day isn't that huge actually. I did this when I got pregnant but it did drive me insane, so consider taking the first positive and seeing what happens.

You'll find mine attached. I didn't write the date on them, but that's from 10DPO as well. You can see it's not drastic, like some you see online.

I haven't had my baby, but I'm currently 24 weeks pregnant.

You have 3 obvious positives there. You can stop testing now!

My BFP was a hell of a lot fainter than this OP! Congratulations xxx

Yours look a lot like mine did op - currently 39 weeks! Stop testing!

Lozzy25 · 11/10/2019 07:52

Thank you so much 😊 I'm finding it so hard to remain calm, my husband keeps telling me to stop testing and I agree but every morning I get up and do another one Blush

I'm a pre school teacher so luckily that keeps me distracted throughout the day!

@mummytobe2020 thank you for attaching your photo! It's reassuring to see Smile I was expecting my test line to be as strong as the control line by now!

@Lozzy25 it's normal to keep wanting to test and feel anxious. You don't want to get your hopes up it there is no chance of it being 'real'. It's an extremely anxious time. I even went and got HCG and progesterone blood test done every few days for the first two weeks or so. Waiting for the phone call for the clinic was absolutely agonising. It was so so hard. I don't know what else to suggest but to say, what will be will be. No matter how much we try to control the outcome. I also prayed a lot to be honest and did YouTube meditations to keep myself calm. The other thing you need to be aware of, which I also told myself and tell myself now still. Being a parent is a worry. The entire time you can be worrying about something. For example how you're worried about the line getting darker. Then it will be the 12 weeks scan, then the 20 week scan, then birth and that the baby stays in long enough etc etc then when the baby is born, we worry about SIDS etc etc etc etc. It never ends! So yeah, all I'm trying to say is that it's normal. The absolute best of luck for your pregnancy !
