Hi
I'm 41 just turned I cane off the pill a few months ago and my periods are regular.
We did have sex on the ovulation day 2 weeks ago and now I'm 3 days over due. I just feel pregnant my boobs heavy I'm getting cramps feel really tired heachachy and dizzy.
Had 2 negative tests so still no 100 percent sure. Haven't told Any1 not even hubby he's asking what's up with me as getting a bit moody and tearful. Got 2 other kids ages 9 and 11 girls just don't know how they will take if I am. The impact it will ha e on lifestyle etc.. We are not rich but have a good lifestyle holidays meals out etc I hope they don't end up resenting if it us a, baby 😔
Anyone in same boat? Thanks

Op there's a thread for women over 40 and pregnant somewhere. Try the cheap tests from asda first thing. Good luck

Me!
I'm 40. With a 6 year old. Too 4 years to conceive him and then this year after much pondering over whether to try ivf or not decided not and to get on with our lives, quite happy as our little family. I got a new job and other life changes.

However, I'm now about a week after my period was due (but I wasn't tracking so not entirely sure). Taken a couple of tests which were negative. Did another this morning and I think I can see a really really faint line.

I'm sort of delighted, but if I am pregnant all the life changes we'd need to make are a bit annoying! Holidays booked for next summer a wedding to go to in a few weeks where not drinking will cause alsorts of speculation etc, I wouldn't be entitled to the maternity package as not been in job long enough, we were just about to move DS bedroom.... Also only being really faint line on test I still can't trust it.

Another baby would be wonderful, but getting my head round the lifestyle changes when only 6 months ago we consciousnessly decided actually life was great how it was would be tough!
