Has anyone submitted their application recently? I've received my text today to say a decision will be made within the next 14 weeks! Sounds like it's super backed up 😳

Thank you @Chlo333 that's really helpful, and yes if you don't mind I'd appreciate it. I'll obviously update if I hear anything too when I phone up as I'll take your advice and do the same once it's in.

@Chlo333 apologies just seen this. Yes I did and it was sorted just after my first payment so next payment settled it and then it now has carried on as should be,

I have just had a letter in with my award and I applied on the 23rd sept. I am self employed and have been awarded the lower amount but says I'll get another letter in a few weeks to say whether I can top up my NI contributions to get the full amount. Does anyone know how much this is likely to be? Thanks!

@m0jit0 that's reassuring as they received my application on 10th October so hopefully not much longer

Evening all.
I received my maternity allowance this week after applying 10 weeks ago, was told in original message would be 8 weeks!
I’m self employed and to receive the full amount I had to top up to NIC 2 which was just an extra £100 for the year.
I hope this helps some of you.
