Blood in urine 19 weeks

Has anyone had experience of blood found during routine urine tests while pregnant? Apparently it's reasonably common, but I am terrified. I had a very preterm baby a few years ago (PPROM at 26 weeks), and the only sign of anything wrong in the lead up was that blood was found in my urine tests, with no signs of infection.

Now I'm 19 weeks pregnant with my second, and the same thing is happening. The midwives & doctors keep saying "it's just one of those things", which is so not reassuring.

So I would be super grateful for any stories of your experiences. If you did have blood in your urine, did your doctors order any special tests or investigations?

I've had some but they said it's likely due to reoccurring thrush. Have you had a swab done to check for anything? Maybe ask your midwife about one

Thanks! They did pick up thrush on a swab a few weeks ago, which then disappeared after short treatment. I asked for another swab today and the Midwife said they don't routinely do them unless I was in significant pain.
