Just wondering what to expect for a booked in CS? Got one booked in for this Friday!!

I had an emergency one with my first, so just wondered what happens during a booked one. Are there any differences?

Thanks! x

To be honest apart from my planned being much more calmer than my emergency there wasn’t much difference! Main one being I was obviously more aware what was going on as it wasn’t a mad rush! Much calmer, no hustle and bustle. They spoke to me all the way through. We laughed and joked about my girls dad being a wimp and not being in there.

11yr gap between last section and this and I am doing this whole planned differently! I want pics of surgery and baby being born, I want skin to skin, I want to bf this time (bottle fed my 2 previous babies)

I think I’ll still be scared in the day though! Good luck for Friday! How exciting xx

Good luck for Friday op and congrats. I had an emergency Cs followed by a planned Cs. Much calmer and more relaxed. The only thing that might happen is that an emergency takes priority over a planned so there's a chance you'll get delayed. Hope all goes well x

Thanks for the replies everyone! Much appreciated!

My first one was less than a year ago! My first is one at the end of the month! Hence the c-section this time

Xx
