I'm 18 weeks and mine are horrendous.
I have constipation most days so it's constant. I had to open my big bedroom window the other night when it was freezing because I was that bad Grin

24 weeks and it seems to be escalating...

CAG12 · 08/10/2019 19:18

I had this, I can't wait to member exactly when it stopped, maybe 3rd trimester? However the breastfeeding farts were even worse and impossible to hold in.

CAG12 · 08/10/2019 19:20

@SlimGin wait what, theres worse to come?! 😂😂

That’s the first laugh of the night, sorry ladies, I know it’s antisocial and I wouldn’t be laughing if I was in a small enclosed room with you, but the post and the emoji just made me laugh!

Congrats on the pregnancy. Farting seems a small but stinky price to pay to have a lovely baby Grin

I did with one of my pregnancies, especially after I had eaten meat!

SlimGin · 08/10/2019 19:32

Well, apparently it's to do with lack of control after the birth. However, for me it was always when I was feeding DD. Honestly, about 5 mins through the feed I could feel my digestive system making movements!
It got better though! Now I have no excuse Grin

Oh god - I have this - it is soooo unpleasant and embarrassing. I even convinced myself at one point I developed a pregnancy lactose intolerance (which apparently is NOT a thing). 30w now and it STILL didn't stop!

LKH27 · 09/10/2019 15:17

36 weeks tomorrow and still going strong on this topic

Tableclothing · 09/10/2019 15:26

I think as baby gets bigger the pressure within your abdomen increases and the.... Margin for error, let's say, decreases.

Allinadaystwerk · 09/10/2019 15:32

I am laughing my head off at this! Remembering farty pregnancy days...mine were really loud but not particularly smelly as I recall. I would regularly blame other people and look at them all shocked and alarmed. 😮😆😆
