Hi, this is my first pregnancy and everything was going fine until last week, after me and my partner had had intercourse I noticed upon wiping brown discharge. I panicked and contacted the midwife straight away, I was referred to the hospital for an early scan where I saw my baby for the first time, it was confirmed that I was 11 weeks pregnant and the scan showed a healthy baby which was moving and wriggling around, they checked on the scan for the source of the bleeding and couldn't find out where it was coming from. I was told not to worry as everything seemed good.
Nearly a week has past and i am due my 12 weeks scan on Friday which cannot come fast enough! I am passing brown stringy mucus most times I go to the toilet and it's beginning to get me down.
Am I worrying for no reason or should I be concerned, I haven't had any pain or red blood.

I don’t know but I posted something similar earlier. 10 weeks pregnant, and all day Ivey had light brown discharge, then it’s started to be a bit heavier. Can’t see someone this evening, earliest is tomorrow afternoon potentially but will be tricky with work. This is my second pregnancy, had no spotting at all with my first so I’m quite anxious about it. We had sex on Saturday but seems a long time after for it to be that? Sorry to be no help but sending solidarity. I think if baby was fine last week after some spotting it’s most likely to be ok now as well?

Well I'm just keeping my fingers crossed, I think because this is my first I am worrying about everything! I haven't contacted the midwife since as it is my 12 weeks scan this Friday and there hasn't been a great deal of time between then and now, I feel fine and I was reassured by the sonographer that everything was positive and told not to worry, but the brown blobs are very concerning! I just wondered if anyone else had experienced this and if everything was ok as i am very anxious for Friday! X
