Am now just 30 weeks pregnant and honestly feel like a cripple... I have bad pains in my left hip joint to the point where I'm limping when I walk and if I eat more than half a sandwich I get pain in my ribs... is this normal?! Will it go away after the baby is born?

Pain in the ribs is resulting from them extending out to accommodate your organs and your baby who may like to kick you in the ribs, your hips loosening of the ligaments holding together the sacroiliac joints, which connect your spine to your pelvis. but if you struggle to get out of bed its painful going up and down the stairs this could be PGP(pelvic girdle pain) you must tell your midwife so she can get you treatment eg pelvic support belt. Should return to normal after birth mine took around two weeks then I was mobile again without discomfort xx
