Hi

My midwife doesn’t seem bothered. Which in one way is great, and it’s better than high blood pressure, but I just cannot get on top of the tiredness. Iron fine.

Is there anything you can do about it?

Mine's about that, always has been. Nobody seems concerned about it.

I'm really tired too but I thought that was just due to pregnancy. Hoping to start feeling better going into the second trimester.

Mines like this and I'm always tired and dizzy. But not much anyone can do about low blood pressure. So I'm trying to make sure fluid levels are kept up (not easy when you're suffering from horrific morning sickness!) and being careful when I go from sitting/lying to standing. I also can't stand still for too long. So queues in supermarkets etc are a no go for me. I feel like I'll pass out if I'm upright lol

Yeah mine tends to be on the low side and apparently especially in pregnancy! Midwives etc not worried, they're just happy it's not too high. Best thing you can do is drink loads of water as it helps increase blood pressure slightly :)

Is your blood pressure generally low during pregnancy ? My midwife said they only become concerned if it suddenly drops low rather than if it's consistently at a similar level.

This is probably normal for you.Tiredness is the pregnancy.
My midwife got concerned when my BP went over 100 as that wasn't normal for me.

Mine was that even when i saw a consultant and he wasn't phased at all, didn't even mention it!

Thanks ladies. Mine use to be 120/something. Looks like nothing can be done! X

@Gettingonabitnow the fact it's lower than your normal will explain why you feel crap. Mine when not pregnant is more like 120/85 but pregnancy has dropped it too 90/60 (my lowest was 90/50 I felt dreadful that day!)
Sorry I can't be more help x

Mines always low pregnant or not. Last time I asked a midwife about it (looooong time ago) I said "is it dangerous" because I knew high blood pressure is dangerous, she replied "only when it stops"
Cracked me up anyway.
Mines usually 90/60 or lower.

Mines always that low and goes lower during pregnancy, midwife wasn’t concerned but was amazed id never fainted. It’s my normal so not a problem for me but guess it could make you feel bad if it’s not normal for you.
