I'm currently 17 + 4 weeks pregnant I've been getting sharp pains in both sides of my lower back and across the front of my stomach it's been so bad sometimes I can't move from where I'm standing I saw my midwife Friday just gone she checked baby's heartbeat everything was normal, she advised could just be from my work as it's quite physical. Today the pain has come back and it was pretty bad it calmed down after about 5 minuets but still have a dull ache in my back is this just normal growing pain? Don't want to seem dramatic or cause a fuss if it's just standard pregnancy growing pains but I've also been feeling really dizzy and having light headed spells just not really sure what to do, Anyone had anything similar?

Dizzy spells are normally to do with extra blood flow. If you midwife is saying everything ok then try not to worry. Have you had a risk assessment done at your workplace?if it's too physical you should be able to adjust to a lighter work load where possible-providing they know that is!
