I’ve just had my results back from my downs/Patau/Edwards screening and although the result is 1 in 6200 for downs and 1 in 1200 for Edwards and Patau’s and I know that these are very low odds but with my DS my results were 1 in 33000 and 1 in 56000 for the same tests. I’m only 28 and my DS isn’t even 2 yet so I can’t see my age having a big effect?! I’m just really shocked by the big difference! Does anyone know what could factor into it? The baby I’m pregnant with now actually had a smaller nuchal fold measurement than my son did!

Sorry I can't offer any advice for you but
Just trying to bump for you as I know these things can be worrying.
Hope everything goes smoothly for you OP x

It could be one hormone level skewing the result - did you get a breakdown? In a previous pregnancy my Papp-a was very low which made my results appear higher risk - I went for a harmony test and she went through it with me, and the result of that (where they go into much more depth) was very very low risk.
