Hi there.

Anyone else experiencing these kind of pains? I feel very uncomfortable! I’m also getting a lot of discharge. More than normal anyway!

Had a long day at work so hoping it’s just normal aches and pains! Xx

You need to give your midwife a call (there should be an out of hours number on your notes). Lots of discharge is pretty normal in pregnancy, so are aches and pains, but period type pain could be a sign of premature labour. Much better safe than sorry in this situation!

Do they come and go? I had the same at 26+3. Called midwife, was told to go straight in. I was in early labour and gave birth 2 days later to a very premature baby. I just thought they were slight pains, nothing to worry about. Please please please call your midwife, or 111 op. Flowers

It seems to have eased at the front. But still got dull back ache. I will keep my eye on it x

The front pains have eased. Not coming back so far. I am also constipated and I experience tummy pains with that. X

Im 27 +5 and woke up with back ache and low belly ache like i was going to come on the other day.
I went into back labour at 33 weeks with my 1st and waters broke just as i hit 34 so im super nervous when I get back ache but it came off after a little while

I’m intrigued to see what position my baby is in when I have the mw next Tuesday! As he has been lying across me since 12 week scan. X

I’m 28 weeks and been getting those period-y aches for a couple of weeks now. I’ve just chalked it up to pregnancy weirdness! In retrospect it might have been the start of an SPD flare up as I’ve been in a lot of pain since the weekend, but I can’t be entirely sure.

I guess just keep an eye on it, OP, and call midwife if worried. Hope it eases!

Will definitely call if I think it’s the start of something! Feeling ok now I’ve sat and I’m relaxing. Thanks all x
