Ani-ball/epi-ball.... any good?

I have read lots about these and loved the sound of it cos I am not very good with all the hippy dippy hypno/visualisation stuff (but very jealous of those of you who are!!!).

Ani ball seemed logic based to me... like you practice exercises with it, slowly increasing the size and apparently it makes your bits less likely to tear.

Sounds great right.... I thought so.... and lots of positive reviews.

BUT....

I asked my midwife and she basically says its bullshit. I am gutted! But she admitted she has never heard of it.

Has anyone actually used it? Would be great to real life experiences!

I have asked two other friends of friends who are midwives and they all say the same unfortunately. Load of rubbish :(

Unless it can permanantly stretch your bits to the size of a newborn baby's head (who would want that!) there is no way it can reliably prevent tearing.
