Strep b testing

I've got a strep b test booked in for Tuesday and I've been told it's two swaps. I have the typical pregnancy hemmaroids atm can that affect the test at all?

I thought they didn't test anymore. Where in the country are you? Tempted to do private test...

I'm in scotland and they are testing because my last labour they suspected strep b due to high temperature in labour but never tested me then so mainly a precaution.

When I asked midwife about it she says they dont offer it but if asked for it theyll do it.

I don't think it will hit ask for reassurance.
I'm in Hampshire and they don't offer strep b test unless they suspect it or you've had it before.
I paid to be tested privately. Wasn't too expensive to be honest about £30 lab bill I think?
