Anyone have a Snuzpod and can tell me what sheets/blankets they bought?

Just the above really... I’m a bit confused what I need to get to cover bubs. He’s due beginning of December and I’m a first time Mum. Have bought the Snuzpod just wondered if anyone can recommend anything? I’d appreciate it thanks xx

standard Moses basket/cot sheets are fine. They're elasticated and stretch over no problem.

For blankets, either a sleeping bag if baby is big enough or just a cellular blanket. X

Thank you... I’ve just been reading on the NHS website about safe sleeping and it’s a lot to take in 🤯. I think I’ll get a sleeping bag and blankets and see what works better/what I prefer x

I bought the little green sheep mattress protector and fitted sheets as I found some of the standard Moses basket ones were too small

We had the snuzpod 3 for 8 months and loved it. The snuzpod original and the snuzpod 2 apparently both fit standard Moses basket sheets. We quickly found that the snuzpod 3, bring wider, was too big. So we got 3x waterproof sheets, 4x snuzpod sheets and just used the standard cellular blankets from asda/mothercare and it worked really well. It was definitely worth us having the amount of sheets we did as DS had reflux. It was expensive but a good investment as the sheets were washed a huge amount but held up really well! Hope this helps.

Asda cot sheets fit perfectly

I’m reading so many reviews that the Snuzpod3 sheets don’t fit properly are are too small!!! Otherwise I would have bought them by now it’s really putting me off. Has anyone else got them and had problems? X

Following this as I am also due beginning of December and have bought a snuzpod3 x

I used the “crib” size fitted sheets from mothercare and they were perfect. It wasn’t a Snuzpod 3 though, it was an earlier one.

Then I used a grobag, my babies were big-ish so pretty much went into the smallest grobag straight away.

I'm in exactly the same situation! I've bought the snuzpod 3 and have been wondering about sheets too! I was going to get crib sheets until I looked at the measurements and realised they're not going to work. Anyone else who has the snuzpod 3 and bought '3rd party' sheets?

HufflepuffBean · 05/10/2019 20:01

Our all fit fine, we got the specific sheets from their site for the 3! But the sheets are rounded (like for a Moses basket) whereas the mattress is more rectangular but they all fit very well and the waterproof sheets were underneath them as well.

We honestly loved the snuzpod and I cannot recommend it enough. It honestly made my first few weeks of breastfeeding and sleep exhaustion so much easier and the reflux tilt helped too. It lasted until our tall DS hit eight months and made me feel so much better about safe sleeping.

We couldn't use sleeping bags for a while (DS was too teeny) but cellular blankets (usually two) worked well and DS was born early January.

John Lewis pram/crib sheets fit the snuzpod 3 fine too.
