Hi everyone

Not looking for medical advice, but a little hope.

I had a heavy bleed at 13W 1 day it was over 3 days, gradually becoming lighter
& eventually stopped. I was checked by the Dr baby was fine and cervix was closed, no explanation found for what caused the bleeding.

Past few days I had brown spotting & then this morning when I wiped red blood. I have no pain or any other symptoms.

I never experienced this in my first pregnancy. I am feeling so worried and scared that I might lose this baby.

Has anyone experienced similar and had a positive outcome? I am now 14 + 4 days.

Thank you 🙏🏼

Much later in pregnancy had spotting then suddenly stopped as like you was frightened midwife assured me that if it's not from having sex (was huge so no way that was happening!)that it was my cervix softening to prep for birth. Maybe call the labour ward or speak to your midwife if you're really concerned

I had a massive bleed at 14 weeks (baby was fine) and spotted pretty much the whole way through that pregnancy. Never any explanation for it but from 24 weeks every time it happened I had to go be checked by triage just to be safe.

Maybe give your epu a call or midwife? I found before 24 weeks they just said spotting can happen and as long as it's not painful or heavy everything is most likely fine. Then they would have me on for a quick check or scan if felt necessary

I've had a bit of spotting this pregnancy bug midwife thinks it's related to bloody reoccurring thrush this time

Ive also had spotting from recurrant thrush, from 20wks up until today (currently 40wks). The dr I saw said it irritates the cervix which can cause some bleeding.
