Just thought I'd start a thread for anyone who can relate to the excruciating boredom/painful countdown to baby arriving? I left work over 5 weeks ago (had a lot of AL to take) and now I'm finding I am quite possibly the worlds most boring person. I'm still trying to do something every day to get me out the house but nesting has no appeal and I've drained netflix of anything useful. Anyone else out there in the same position?

I’m 39 weeks today & finished work 3 weeks ago & I am so bored! I have no signs of baby coming anytime soon and could cry at the potential thought that I may still have another 3 weeks to go till baby is here. I try to get out & about even for just an hour or so a day but other than that feel like all I do is slob around watching daytime tv/Netflix & my house has never been so clean as I clean it every day to pass the time!

@Lisalou88 yep I'm exactly the same! My neighbours love me cause I keep baking for them (currently have bloodies in the oven right now). Our nhs trust only let us go to 41 weeks so I only have 5 days max but it still feels like 5 month away! Everyone I know who is due the same time as me have already had their babies which isn't helping! I'm a pro at The Chase & Tipping Point now which is the highlight of my days now 😂

Hey all, 39+1 and bored out of my mind. Left week 3 weeks ago (2 weeks holiday and 2 weeks mat leave before due date next week). I thought I would be in my element and do lots of things I never get the chance to do but jump at on a day off; reading, art, etc but I seem to have no interest in anything at the moment.
Thankfully I have the dog to take on lots of short walks so she is really happy I am at home as she gets extra cuddles!
Husband is also loving it, his tea is made for him for when he gets home and there is also usually a cake of some kind to take to work the next day Cake

Why don't you book yourself in for a nice pregnancy massage or pedicure as a treat to look forward to? That's what I did when I got fed up towards the end of my last pregnancy, certainly helped pass the time in those last few days/weeks xx

Or do some batch cooking if you can be arsed. Then freeze up lots of portions for once baby has arrived so you don't need to worry about what to eat xx

Hiya, 39+3 and totally over pregnancy - I just need the baby here now! My clothes are too tight, my knees and hips hurt and I can no longer reach the sink taps. Basically, I'm big and heavy and just want the baby to come now so I feel everyone's pain 🙃🙃

Things looked promising as I started having contractions around every 4 hours but then they stopped, and I've had ZERO other signs of baby coming 😑😑😑😑
