Hi all

I'm 27 weeks and 5 ds, this is my second pregnancy which has been fine so far, however from around teatime last night the baby bump has been extremely wriggly all thru the night and this morning, its like it turning somersaults in there. My DS1 was born at 8 weeks prem, so i prob am a bit paranoid but just worried a b it worried, spoke to MW who has said shes sure its fine but to pop down to early pregnancy unit to put my mind at rest. I may well leave work early this pm to do that, but don't want to waste their time. Anyone else have extremely wriggly bump ?

God yes; DD2 didn't stop for the last 5 months. Be warned; wriggly bump equals wriggly baby IME!!!
Good luck, I am 100% sure everything will be fine.

great, thanks for replies, DS1 didn't move around that much, it is nice to feel baby in there, even though its using my inside like bouncy castle

My LO has a few quiet days and a few bouncy days. She is currently going through her quiet days phase, which is annoying/worrying but i do feel the odd movement so i know she's still in there somewhere!

I love feeling her wriggling and bouncing around.

Mine hasn't stopped jumping around since I was about 20 weeks (I'm 32 wks pg with our first). It's generally fine but often feels like, say, someone is rummaging around in a handbag for keys or something. It can be a little uncomfortable (and embarrassing if a cough from me coincides with a headbutt to the bladder from baby)
