Someone please calm me down,
I just ate some unpasteurized burrata at lunch, it only occurred to me after several bites to check if it was pasteurized so I asked and they said it wasn't :(((

I should be okay right? The risk is small right?

You’ll be fine!

Aquamarine1029 · 02/10/2019 13:40

Your baby will be just fine.

Tmnmpa1 · 02/10/2019 13:40

Dont worry....I had bottomless brunch and prosecco before finding out I was pregnant.....I panicked about it for so long and now 34 weeks with a healthy bump.
Make sure to ask in future, not least so you dont have the panic to deal with. Take care x

Just keep an eye on things and maybe contact your midwife for advice!

Tmnmpa1 · 02/10/2019 13:41

TheRaccoonLandlord · 02/10/2019 13:41

Try and calm down and put into context. Think of all the millions of women all over the world who have eaten, smoked, drank something that is not advisable and have had healthy babies!! Speak to your GP or midwife so that you can put your worry/fear to bed ...bless you .X

That's what I'm trying to tell myself that I can't be the only one, plus I'm at an event and 15 other people have had it, but they're not pregnant but still the place wouldn't risk using subpar food right?

Also if it makes a difference the place is quite posh so I would hope they would only source the best produce!

Ahhh I feel so dumb! It just didn't occur to me because mozzarella is normally fine to eat :(

Seriously, you need to relax.

pinkstar01 · 02/10/2019 14:09

@Aquamarine1029 I suffer from chronic anxiety so shoot me for being worried.
