Hello everyone, I'm Ashley and I'm new to this site.
I am very confused with my body right now and uncertain if I maybe expecting or maybe possibly even had an early miscarriage so I thought maybe I could seek out advice on here. I had unprotected sex during my suspected ovulation this month.

This week I've experienced:
-Tender & Sore breasts
-Darkening in my nipples
-Headaches
-Tiredness
-Light brown & pink spotting before my expected period. Lasted 2 days.

The reason I am confused is because starting on Monday, the bleeding has changed and is irregular. Monday morning I had light pink spotting with no need for a pad. Skip foward to a little past noon and it got heavier and bright red to medium red with slight clotting, like a period would be. Then the evening/nighttime rolled around and its a bit lighter bleeding & brown in color. As for Tuesday it was very inconsistent on and off between light spotting with no need for a pad & heavier bleeding which needed a pad. I'm not sure what to make of all this.

You need to take a test.

Agree with PP. Take a test. If there's any hint of a second line, you may be pregnant or experiencing an early miscarriage. If not, it's just an unusual period. Sorry to be blunt.

I was 17 when I found out I was pregnant with my first, and I experienced the same thing. I woke up, had light bleeding, turned to heavier bleeding and then back to practically nothing. I was unaware I was pregnant, and didn't even think about it until I googled why I kept bleeding and not bleeding. I took a test straight away when I saw the word 'pregnant'!
