Private prescription for progesterone

Has anyone obtained a private prescription for progesterone? If so, where did you get it from?

Long story short, I'm around 6 weeks pregnant after having three miscarriages in the space of a year. I had a scan on Monday which showed a viable pregnancy with a pole and a heartbeat, but slightly smaller than I think it should be for my dates and I started spotting on Monday evening. This is exactly how my previous miscarriages started. I can't sit back and let it happen again, I need to feel like I'm doing something.

I'm under a consultant at the RCM but he's proving somewhere... elusive. No-one knows where he is or when he's due in, his secretary is on leave, the other secretaries in the department are on protected typing time so they're not picking up the phone, and no-one else in the department will prescribe anything without his say so.

So I want to look into getting a private prescription but I don't know where to start. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'm in Manchester if that helps.

@littleshop yes and no! I finally got pregnant on mi first cycle of using vitex but I lost the baby at 8 weeks in Jan. it may be worth trying as it lengthened my luteal phase x

@Vickisun thanks so much for replying and I’m so sorry for your loss. I know how hard it is and I hope you’re doing as well as can be expected xx
