Is anyone else really itchy all over?! I'm 35+2 and honestly I feel so itchy and it's driving me bonkers!

Sounds like it could be obstetric cholestis (excuse the spelling it may be wrong). I had this and it was mainly on my hands, bump and feet. I had bloods taken to check bile function. Ring your midwife or gp and get checked.

Obstetric cholestasis. Had to Google to get it right.

I had this and was induced so it's really important to ring your midwife and get checked

Glad you're getting seen to.

socialistmamma · 01/10/2019 19:18

Glad you're being seen, let us know how you get on, I know how horrible it is Flowers

Definitely sounds like choleostasis. I had it and it drove me nuts. Luckily DS was born a week after it started for other reasons.

hlo91 · 02/10/2019 13:19

I went this morning @itsme @socialistmamma @zebrapig and had blood tests and my ALT (liver function?) should be between 0-30 and mine is 61, so they have sent my bloods to another hopsital for bile level checks? and i have to go back tuesday for results and also more bloods... they said it was the right thing to do, as itchiness head to toe is the most common symptom, so i am glad i went! x
