I'm currently 10 weeks pregnant and I just feel crap all the time. Since 6 weeks I've felt sickly but haven't been sick at any point which I think sometimes is worse. I'm so tired all the time but when I do actually go to bed I can't sleep haven't had a full nights sleep since finding out I'm pregnant 6 weeks ago! I'm now starting to get up during the night the last few weeks to pee sometimes 3 times a night even though going twice before going to bed. And now I've started getting headaches not sure if this is due to lack of sleep I do nap during the day when I can. Also a few weeks ago I was starting to feel a little down about my ever changing body even though I have started to come to terms with that and actually love my body after all it's growing a human, and now I am starting to show a little I'm starting to love it even more. I just wish I felt better in myself. My midwife did say it does get easier and people have said it does but I don't believe them 🤣🤣 any advice would be much appreciated sorry about the rant 🙂 x

I'm 35+2 and I have horrible heartburn and back ache and itchy skin and it's just uncomfortable... I won't lie, some weeks are good some are crap... it's just part of the ride I'm afraid. Some days I wake up and feel like I'm full of energy and some days I wake up and don't wanna get out of bed.

Everyone is different and everyone suffers different symptoms.. it's hard to compare to others as your body will do what it will do.
I never had morning sickness at all!

I'm 8+2 and I feel awful. I've been sick today but usually I just feel sick most of the day. I have no appetite and I'm living off fruit and soup.

I have pregnancy insomnia if that's even a thing. And when I can sleep my 14month old who is a terrible sleeper wakes up around 8 times a night, so by the time I get back to sleep she is awake again. I'm up at least twice for a wee on top of that. I'm exhausted!

If you can't tell I'm feeling a bit sorry for myself today. Blush
I move house on the 17th so have a lot on. I can't wait for this trimester to be done. I hope you feel better soon @FearnRJ

For most people it gets much much better.

For some poor sods it doesn't. Cross your fingers and hope you're in the majority!

I felt like you at 10 weeks and never thought I'd see the day where I felt better.. I'm 15+2 now and have been feeling a lot more like myself! I have energy to do things again and can eat normally! It does get better for most people lol. However the peeing through the night doesn't stop... it just gets worse.. That's a pain 😂

FearnRJ · 01/10/2019 18:22

@Kam610 the peeing is an absolute nightmare, I'm not too bad through the day it's evening and through the night I've started counting the times I have to get up to pee 🤣🤣 I'm keeping my fingers crossed I do start feeling a little better soon x

@BecauseItIz I have read that pregnancy insomnia is a thing google it apparently it's the most common in first and third trimester as I think it's what I have too. So you aren't alone x

@MindyStClaire I'm keeping my fingers crossed it does get a little better soon. It's still a secret until our 12 weeks scan in 2 weeks but as time is going on it's getting harder and harder to hide especially with how I feel. I'm sure people know but just darent ask or say anything incase x

The weeing is annoying - it wakes me up in the middle of the night and then I struggle to get back to sleep again.

I'm 9+4 OP and have heard from lots of people that it does get better after the first trimester. Hang in there!

FearnRJ · 01/10/2019 19:02

@tacosplease yes as soon as I get to sleep I'm waking up to pee 🤣🤣 told my husband I'm going to start sleeping in the bath.

I know we are supposed to enjoy being pregnant but I can't wait to get into the 2nd trimester now. Will make it so much easier once people know x

That's interesting, I'll have a look. It must be really difficult hiding it when you're feeling so awful. This is my 4th so my bladder was already broken but during the night is just annoying. Time to start on the pelvic floor exercises I think.
