Since yesterday baby feels really low, it's very uncomfortable to walk and I feel like I can almost feel baby's head in between my legs. My partner is currently working away and I'm worried this could be a sign of labour?

If it feels like you have a bowling ball between your legs and that baby is going to fall out then there's a chance that baby has engaged ready for labour.
This tends to happen from around 36 weeks for first births (but often not until labour starts with subsequent births)
It has no impact on when you will go into labour though. Baby can be engaged at 36 weeks but not be born until 40 so it is not considered a sign of labour at all.
