Flying whilst pregnant

I'm 13+2 and flying Wednesday morning to Hamburg and flying back Sunday. Is there any risks from flying? And any tips from anybody who has flown whilst pregnant?

I know it's pretty safe but can't help but worry!

You’ll be fine. I flew at 28 weeks and had to get a letter from my GP/midwife but they didn’t even check. You won’t need a letter.

Nausea can be brutal if you’re still struggling with morning sickness and if there’s lots of turbulence. Other than that - same as flying when not pregnant!

I flew at 31 weeks and a massive bump. I had my fit to fly letter and no one batted an eyelid! I was slightly uncomfortable because my bump is pretty big now but if you're not showing and don't have much sickness, can't imagine you'll need to do anything differently.

Oh and just enjoy flying without a newborn! I'd say!

No risk with flying.

I was 5 months pg when I went on holiday to St. Lucia, and I was 9 weeks pg when we went to Oz for a holiday/family visit.

I flew long haul to the USA at 23 weeks.
No issues.
I did buy some compression stockings though
