Random sadness is this normal

Does anyone else get random moment of sadness? So strange I was fine for the last few weeks yet today just feel so down and sort of just low and I have no idea why! I hate feeling like this. I have been struggling to sleep at night and I have had a cold for the last ten days so maybe that's making me feel so rough. I just really could do with a cuddle I'm wondering if it's normal and will it pass? Thank You

It's normal, sodrained. I've always had the same and obviously it's going to be worse if you're not well and can't sleep. You may find you have less sad times when you are over your cold and sleeping properly.

I've always found watching something that interests me on TV or a box set helps take me out of myself.

@Rachelover60 Thank you just really get overwhelmed when I feel down as I worry it won't go etc, which makes it worse but I'm just going to have a nice bath and an early night in a bit and hopefully I wake up tomorrow feeling better.
