Reflex DNA test

Has anyone been offered the reflex DNA test by their hospital. Currently 13 weeks and had some not so good combined screening results this morning and due to go this afternoon for the test. Just wondering how long it took for results to come back and if you can opt to find out the gender or not. Slightly shitting myself.

I haven't sorry but just wanted to wish you all the best! Hope someone comes along who can offer some advice soon! Smile

Yes I've been offered it, but I'm 10 weeks and scans on 22nd so I can't give you any info on it. I'm going to watch this thread though.

Well I've had the rest done, results in 10-14 days apparently and they dont give out any info on the gender so different to harmony &nipt in that respect. Now to wait.

Did you get it done because of the results of the combined test?

I think perhaps if the combined test results are fine they won't do a reflex dna test?

Hope results are good!

Yes I did. Although considered "low risk" and above the cut off, the odd are still in the 100's which for me just doesnt give me peace of mind when previous pregnancies have been 1:100000.

I paid £300 to have it done privately yesterday so just waiting now.
