White / grey tongue in very early pregnancy

I'm currently in my 2ww from IVF #8 and have a really white/grey/horrible tongue. Did anyone else have this? I'm wondering if it's a side effect of the meds, pregnancy symptom or just a random occurrence.

Could it be oral thrush?

I don't think so,wouldn't that be sore? It doesn't hurt at all...

Not necessarily, I had it in early pregnancy and it just felt like my mouth had a covering.

Ah ok, that's interesting. Was yours pregnancy related do you think or just coincidence?

Gosh it's ages a go now, but I think it was a combination of asthma inhalers, horrendous sickness and general raging change of hormones and pregnancy craziness. Pop to a pharmacy, they should be able to check and give you a gel if it is. If it is oral thrush don't let it go on too long, I ended up with issues when swallowing... Not pleasant when vomiting 20+ times a day Sad
