Hey guys,

Wondering if anyone on here had 6w scans! If so, what size did they measure your baby at?

At 6w 3d my baby measured 3.9cm which is huge for 6weeks!

They don't know for sure how far gone I am. Any advice would be amazing.

Thanks!

Interested—- I am having a 6 week scan next week. Had a bit of bleeding which has prompted the scan

My little one was around 4mm at six weeks sounds more like a fetus around 10/11 weeks!

It sounds like you're further on than you think. At 6 weeks, the egg was only fertilised two weeks ago, so I can't see how it can possibly be 3cm already!

That's about the same size as a 10-
/11 week baby! It would have looked much closer to what you'd expect a 12 week scan to look rather than a 6 week baby which is a blob

Hi, I had scans at 5wk and 7wk. (EPU was guessing the weeks as I hadn’t had a period since previous miscarriage)
Can’t remember the measurements but at ‘7weeks’ they gave me an Estimated due date based on size: sonographer said it was unlikely to change much. At 12 week scan they bought the due date forward by two weeks and he was born two days early so 16 days earlier than the original EDD. Not sure how accurate the early scans are for size/ dates I think it’s mainly just to confirm presence of an embryo, location and possibly a heartbeat.

Good luck OP

I had a 6wk 5d scan & mine was 3.6mm ( I was probably a bit further behind than date of last period suggested) but 3.9cm definitely sounds like you're much further on than 6 weeks!

Are you sure it was cm not mm OP? You are way further along than 6 weeks if so. Are you unsure of dates/ implant bleed etc?
Congratulations by the way :)
