newborn spots

hi my dd has quite a few spots shes 6 and a half weeks old
there mainly one one side ,the side she likes to lay on
hv says its millia do you guys have any tips ?
ive just ben cleaning hr little face with cotton wool and water

dd had them at this age too! They were all over her cheeks and neck and looked like angry pimples. I was advies to do as you are doing and after about a fortnight they cleaered up completely.

It's just a hormonal thing. It means they're not as pretty for a little while but they'll clear up of their own accord fairly quickly. You don't need to do anything more than you're doing.

Are you breastfeeding? My ds2 had this and I was told it was something to do with hormones from mum. They will clear up though!

ds had them horrendously...our hv just called them '5 week spots'. I wasn't quite so upset when dd got them..as i knew they would be gone in 2 weeks.
Yes ...i would just advise on water on her face if you have to use anything
