Contractions or Braxton hicks?

I'm having very mild period like pains every 5 or so mins for 30 secs. Assume BH as not too painful?
Had the syntocin drip with DC1 so not really sure what a "normal" contraction feels like?

Am. 39 + 3 so aware it could be me gearing up for Labour in a few days.

Sounds more like early labour to me. How are you doing now?

Have a bath... If they are true contractions then they won't stop after a bath.

Definitely were contractions after all as DD was born a few hours later! Totally weird that they came in like that, they just got more intense, luckily made it to hospital on time!
