May be a bit unusual, but I was wondering if someone experienced or know a little bit more.
I am 29 + 5 weeks. No complications.
I woke up in the morning and noticed a three small stains of blood (dry) size of £1 coin on my night top (on the left side) No stains on bed line or on my shorts.
I inspected and assessed every part of my body and asked my DH to help to check if there were any visible traces of blood but none found.
I hadn't experienced any bleeding or abnormal pains. I could only think that it perhaps came from belly button??? I had my belly button pierced 10 years ago and removed piercing ring around 20weeks. I had experienced some stretching and pain associated with this around belly button for a while but I read up this is to be expected. Mu belly button not yet protruded but it looks like it may soon. It's def more stretched over night and shrinks back inside in the morning. Baby seems to be moving in similar pattern. I rang Midwife Triage but she was surprised and have not heard of bleeding belly button. She advised me to monitor it and call my Gp if I have concerns. She concerned for me to be checked over at this time.
Anyone had similar experience.
I am still not entitled sure where the blood/stains come from as the top was rather long and it was on the right side at the end of the top.
