Scan at 10 weeks - will the baby be moving?

I'm due to have a scan when I'm 10+4 as part of the Harmony package at the Fetal Medicine Centre.

Does anyone know if the baby will be moving about by that point?

If not, will he/she be moving about by the 12-week scan?

Thanks! Smile

Baby will probably already be moving but you might not feel him/her until 16+ weeks x

I had a private scan at 9 weeks and baby was moving on the scan, could see it on the screen

Yes you will be able to see baby moving, I actually thought the baby was moving around more at my 9 week scan that my 13 week one.

Thanks! I had a scan at 8+0 and couldn’t see any movement, so it’ll be really exciting to see the baby moving this time hopefully!

Twitching away! I was kinda surprised personally, i thought at 10 weeks they'd just be a blob.

I had a scan at 9 weeks, had a can of sugary fizzy drink, a doughnut, and half a bag of kitkats before the scan, and the baby was moving around like crazy!

I had an NIPT scan and ten weeks and (after a Lucozade Sport) I swear he was waving at us 💕

GoldPaperStars · 27/09/2019 16:00

Same - we’ve got a video of him waving at that scan. It was amazing!

I had my first scan at 10 weeks (supposed to be 12 weeks but the dates were wrong) - DS was very jerky and bouncy Grin 12 week scan the movements were completely different - much more slow and controlled.

Kinsters · 27/09/2019 16:47

I had a scan at 10 weeks and didn't see any movement so don't panic if you don't see anything!

I could see mine kicking and wriggling at our 11 week scan (ivf related scan)
