Hi everyone,

How are you all?

So lately I've been having a very hard time sleeping at night even though I am completely exhausted. I find baby kicks a lot and more so when I'm on my side. It does hurt from time to time too. I was thinking about sleeping in a reclining position.

Is that a good idea? How many pillows should I use?

Thank you everyone

I don’t think so, you are supposed to sleep on your side. Have you used pillows behind your back and under you bump?

In the later stages of pregnancy I think you have to do whatever you need to do to get some sleep! Flat on your back is not a good position for blood flow as it can apply pressure to blood vessels.

I use about 8 pillows when pregnant. My husband thinks it's ridiculous. I have several for my head/shoulders, one behind my back, one under/in front of the bump and one between my knees. Makes turning over a nightmare of pillow organisation, but let's me sleep a bit.
