Am I losing my waters? Or just my bladder control?

I've still got regular movements from my baby however I seem to be trickling fluids with no stress on my bladder... my pants are damp, I'm only 25 weeks am I likely to lose my waters slowly? Or am I just peeing a little bit without realising?

Check with your doctor or midwife straight away

Good advice to check with a professional.
But, quick (but not definitive) test. Put on a sanitary towel and smell what is leaking.
Amniotic fluid has a neutral, slightly sweet smell. Wee smells different.

I was told to lie down for about 30 mins and then stand up. Waters will pool inside you and then when you stand up you'll get a slight gush/dribble.

You should really get that checked straight away xx

Yep get checked out. I had a suspected leak at 30 weeks in my first pregnancy as I was walking through town I suddenly had very wet knickers. They just took an internal swab to check for amniotic fluid. Mine was negative. But it was a relief as I was panicking at the time.

Goodluck OP I hope you are OK

Hi all,

Spoke with the midwife and thankfully it's not my waters, I have a pretty nasty UTi apparently which is why I'm just leaking without realising 😬 very scary but glad baby is ok 😘 thank you for your advice x
